How To Open and Run Artisan Task Manager

Depending on your initial setup, you may have a shortcut icon for the task manager on the desktop of your computer. If not, you will have to go into the program folder for Artisan POS and open the ArtisanTasks.exe icon. We will provide instructions for both options below.

Shortcut On Computer Desktop:

If you have a shortcut on the desktop, you can just double-click it to open. If the remote operation task does not open and start running automatically, you will need to open the task and click the run button.

You can do this by clicking the TASK menu drop down and then click OPEN then choose the task from the menu to the right. If you click on that task, you will find a “Run” button at the bottom of the task screen. Click Run and then your task window will flip over to the LOG tab and show you that it is running. If you see this running, then you have completed running the task.

If you do not have a shortcut on the desktop, please follow the path listed below and double-click the icon named “ArtisanTasks.exe.”

From your search bar, type in “Artisan Task Manager.”

Double-click on the search result. The program will open.
