Collecting Data Through Driver’s License

You can collect customer information by scanning a customer’s driver’s license. You must have a 2D barcode scanner, such as the Zebra DS2208 scanner, to scan barcodes.

Simply position the driver’s license in front of the scanner and scan the code on the back of the driver’s license.

This will open the “Customer Record” window in Artisan. 

The name, address, and other information will automatically populate.
