Remote Operation Status

To check the status of your remote sites and stations at any time, you may view the “Remote Operation Status” screen.

Access Remote Operation Status

To access this screen, go to “Tools” and “Remote Operation.”

Click on “Display Remote Status.”

Your remote sites and stations are displayed here, including the status and any information waiting to be loaded.

Avoid Remote Operation Status Errors

If your “Messages Queued” section shows a lot of queued messages or the word “SUSPENDED,” please contact Support to have them fix your Remote Operation status.

To avoid this, we recommend cycling your remotes at least daily. “Cycling” means to leave your Artisan Task Manager running in order for all messages to come through cleanly. We recommend leaving your Task Manager on 24/7 to avoid messages piling up.

In this example, stations 92 and 96 have had the Task Manager turned off for a long time, resulting in numerous messages waiting to be queued. If you need to turn off a remote station or site, we recommend not exceeding three days. Turning off the Task Manager for Remote Operation can corrupt your remote data.
