This is where you take a deposit or total amount.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Completing a Sale<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Once you are ready to accept payment for items on a sale, select the green button labeled \u201c<strong>Finalize<\/strong>\u201d at the bottom-right of the screen, or press F10.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/certek.com\/kb4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/2018-03-19_14h08_52-e1638813623359-1024x597.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This button will take you to the payment screen. Here is where you will choose the payment type and process the sale.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/certek.com\/kb4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/2018-03-19_14h51_49-e1638813650633-1024x594.png\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Processing a Sale without Split Tenders<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Processing a sale with a single tender is easy and straight forward. Click on the \u201c<strong>Amount<\/strong>\u201d field and type in the amount you would like for the first payment type. Then, select the payment type to the right. If the amount has been paid in full, you can now select \u201c<strong>Save<\/strong>\u201d to complete the sale. If the customer has a balance due, visit the section \u201c<b>Processing a Sale with Split Tenders<\/b>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/certek.com\/kb4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/2015-02-12_11h48_281-1024x572.png\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Processing a Sale with\u00a0Split Tenders<\/h3>\n<p>With the first payment taken, it is now time to enter the second payment type. Enter the amount paid with your first tender type, then select your tender type. Enter the amount paid by the second tender type, and then select the tender type. If you have more than two tender types, just repeat the process described above.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/certek.com\/kb4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/2015-02-12_11h51_22-1024x464.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once the balance has been paid in full, select \u201c<strong>Save<\/strong>.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\"><strong>Remember:<\/strong> If using cash as one of the payment types, use it as the last payment type so Artisan can calculate the change due, if any.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Finalizing a sale is the final step in the Sales process.
