There might come a time when you need to discount a purchase order after the items have been delivered. An example is that the items supplied by the vendor are not the quality you expected, and the vendor agreed to a refund or discount.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Apply a Discount<\/h3>\n

To apply a discount to an entire PO, follow these steps.<\/p>\n

From the “Purchasing<\/strong>” menu, click on “View\/Edit Purchase Order<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

On the “Purchase Orders<\/strong>” screen, navigate to the “PO Status<\/strong>” field. From the dropdown, select “Closed<\/strong>” to bring up the purchase orders with items you have already received into Artisan.<\/p>\n

Select the purchase order you want to edit from the list.<\/p>\n

You are now modifying the PO. Click on the “Discount PO<\/strong>” button, or press “Ctrl<\/strong>“, “Shift<\/strong>” and “D<\/strong>” on your keyboard.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Insert the discount percentage. Click “OK<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Notice that the “Total<\/strong>” changed. Save the PO.<\/p>\n
