In order to run Internet reports, such as sales information, separate from other inventory, you must have your Internet Store set up on a separate site.\u00a0This is not a physical site, like a store or warehouse’s actual location. This is simply a site created within Artisan that communicates with your webstore.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please follow these instructions for setting up a station as an Internet Store site only. For setting this up for multiple sites\/locations, click here<\/a> to read those instructions.<\/p>\n

Configure Settings in Artisan<\/strong><\/h3>\n

To begin, go to “Tools<\/strong>” and “Program Options<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Open “Stations and Sites (Locations)<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Click on “Edit Sites<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Follow these steps:<\/p>\n

1. Create a new record and assign it a “Site Number<\/strong>” such as 099<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2. For its “Site\/Location Name<\/strong>,” name it “Internet<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

3. Name the “Store Name for this Site<\/strong>” as “Internet<\/strong>” as well.<\/p>\n

4. Make sure “Track Inventory at this Site?<\/strong>” is set to “No<\/strong>.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

5. For “Default Inventory Location for Sales from this Site<\/strong>,” select whatever site that has the inventory for Internet sales, or that Internet sales will pull from.\u00a0<\/p>\n

6. Leave “Additional Sites for Internet Orders<\/strong>” blank, since you are setting up a single inventory site. If you want to use multiple sites, follow these<\/a> instructions.<\/p>\n

7. Press “Save<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Configure Settings in the Artisan Task Manager<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Search for the “Artisan Task Manager<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Click on “Task<\/strong>” and “New.<\/strong>“<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Name the new task a name related to your online store.\u00a0<\/p>\n

1. Make sure the “Task Type<\/strong>” is set to “Download<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

2. Set “Internet Store Type<\/strong>” to whatever your store type is (Shopify or WooCommerce).<\/p>\n

3. The “Sale Source Name<\/strong>” should match the site\/location name you created in Artisan earlier.<\/p>\n

4. This is your web address. It MUST<\/strong> include the https:\/\/ and be just like the example, but with your address instead. If it is a Shopify site, it must include\u00a0.myshopify.com<\/strong><\/p>\n

5. Store User ID:<\/strong> For Shopify users, this is the API Key from the Shopify Setup. Read these<\/a> instructions to learn how to get that information.<\/p>\n

6. Store Password:<\/strong> For Shopify users, this is the API password from the Shopify Setup. Read\u00a0these<\/a> instructions to learn how to get that information.<\/p>\n

7. Press “Save<\/strong>” and “Run<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n
