In order to run Internet reports, such as sales information, separate from other inventory, you must have your Internet Store set up on a separate site.\u00a0This is not a physical site, like a store or warehouse\u2019s actual location. This is simply a site created within Artisan that communicates with your webstore.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Configure Settings in Artisan<\/strong><\/h3>\n

To begin, go to \u201cTools<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cProgram Options<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Open \u201cStations and Sites (Locations)<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Click on \u201cEdit Sites<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Follow these steps:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

1. Create a new record and assign it a \u201cSite Number<\/strong>\u201d such as\u00a0100.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. For its \u201cSite\/Location Name<\/strong>,\u201d name it \u201cInternet<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

3. Name the \u201cStore Name for this Site<\/strong>\u201d as \u201cInternet<\/strong>\u201d as well.<\/p>\n

4. Make sure \u201cTrack Inventory at this Site?<\/strong>\u201d is set to \u201cNo<\/strong>.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

5. For \u201cDefault Inventory Location for Sales from this Site<\/strong>,\u201d select whatever site that has the inventory for Internet sales, or that Internet sales will pull from.\u00a0<\/p>\n

6. You can then choose to pull inventory from multiple locations if you choose. Enter a list separated by a comma or type ALL to include all other sites.<\/p>\n

7. Press \u201cSave<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Configure Settings in the Artisan Task Manager<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Search for the \u201cArtisan Task Manager<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Click on \u201cTask<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cNew.<\/strong>\u201c<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Name the new task a name related to your online store.\u00a0<\/p>\n

1. Make sure the \u201cTask Type<\/strong>\u201d is set to \u201cDownload<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

2. Set \u201cInternet Store Type<\/strong>\u201d to whatever your store type is (Shopify or WooCommerce).<\/p>\n

3. The \u201cSale Source Name<\/strong>\u201d should match the site\/location name you created in Artisan earlier.<\/p>\n

4. This is your web address. It\u00a0MUST<\/strong>\u00a0include the https:\/\/ and be just like the example, but with your address instead. If it is a Shopify site, it must include\u00a0.myshopify.com<\/strong><\/p>\n

5.\u00a0Store User ID:<\/strong>\u00a0For Shopify users, this is the API Key from the Shopify Setup. Read\u00a0these<\/a>\u00a0instructions to learn how to get that information.<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0Store Password:<\/strong>\u00a0For Shopify users, this is the API password from the Shopify Setup. Read\u00a0these<\/a>\u00a0instructions to learn how to get that information.<\/p>\n

7. Press \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cRun<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n
