Here’s a list of all the menus in Artisan for better accessibility.<\/p>\n

Pull-Down Menus<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Besides the main menus in the center of the Artisan screen, you can use the traditional pull-down menus\u00a0from the menu bar along the top of the main window, just below the title bar. Most of these menu entries\u00a0are simply shortcuts to various parts of the program, which can also be reached through Artisan\u2019s\u00a0traditional Main Menu system.<\/p>\n

One advantage of the pull-down menus is that you don\u2019t have to escape back to the “Main Menu<\/strong>” first.\u00a0Selecting a navigation shortcut pull-down will cancel whatever you\u2019re currently in the middle of, but\u00a0unlike \u201csuper-escape<\/strong>\u201d (Shift-F12<\/strong>, or in some cases, Shift-Esc<\/strong>), you\u2019ll be prompted for confirmation if\u00a0you have any unsaved changes. The File Menu<\/h4>\n

The “File Menu<\/strong>” lets you open a new company file (same as “Change Directory<\/strong>” in “System Administration<\/strong>“), open\u00a0a recent company database,\u00a0import or export data, print the current record or list, or exit the program.<\/p>\n

The Edit Menu<\/h4>\n

\"Edit<\/p>\n

The “Edit Menu<\/strong>” lets you “Cut<\/strong>,” “Copy,<\/strong>” and “Paste<\/strong>” text or “Copy\/Delete<\/strong>” an entire record, where applicable.<\/p>\n

Select \u201cPreferences<\/strong>\u201d to go directly to the “Configuration Settings<\/strong>” menu.<\/p>\n

The View Menu<\/h4>\n

\"View<\/a><\/p>\n

The “View Menu<\/strong>” lets you control how the main Artisan window is displayed; specifically, the size of the\u00a0window.<\/p>\n

Select “Small Text<\/strong>,” “Medium Text<\/strong>,” or “Large Text<\/strong>” to change to one of several built-in sizes.<\/p>\n

Select “Standard Size<\/strong>” to make Artisan window take half-screen size.<\/p>\n

Select “Full Screen<\/strong>” to make the Artisan window take up the entire screen.<\/p>\n

The “Touch Screen Mode<\/strong>” enables Artisan to function at your fingertips if your PC \/ Monitor is touchscreen compatible.<\/p>\n

You can also use the “View<\/strong>” menu to control fonts and “Main Menu<\/strong>” pictures, or to switch color schemes under “More Appearance Settings<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

The “Tool Bar Buttons<\/strong>” allow you to display or not to display the tool bar icons such as “Clock IN\/Out<\/strong>,” “Sales<\/strong>,” “Price Check<\/strong>,” etc.<\/p>\n

The Go Menu<\/h4>\n

The\u00a0“Go<\/strong>” menu lets you quickly navigate to various main sections of the program.<\/p>\n

The Reports Menu<\/h4>\n

\"Reports<\/a><\/p>\n

The “Reports<\/strong>” menu lets you quickly navigate to the various reports in different areas of the program.<\/p>\n

Look through them and use them according to your needs.<\/p>\n

The Tools Menu<\/h4>\n

\"Tools<\/a><\/p>\n

The\u00a0“Tools<\/strong>” menu lets you perform various important maintenance tasks, such as all the ones displayed under the Tools Menu.<\/p>\n

You may also select the option\u00a0“Connect to a Technician<\/strong>” after speaking with us by phone or email, so that we may access your PC\/Server\/Register remotely to assist with any issues that you may be facing.<\/p>\n

The Help Menu<\/h4>\n

\"Help<\/a><\/p>\n

The “Help<\/strong>” menu lets you select common help topics, the help index, or tutorials. The \u201cEnter License Keys<\/strong>\u201d entry lets you administer your current Artisan license keys, or add new ones, to enable optional features.<\/p>\n
