This is only for advanced users and do not perform tasks NOT related to the exporting, unless you know what you&#8217;re doing.<\/p>\n<p>CerTek Software Designs, Inc. is not responsible for any data damage or loss. Use this tool at your own risk. Make backups before any changes.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><b>Access Database<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">We will use pgAdmin to access the database. This will bring all the table fields onto the right panel where specific fields could be selected for the export, or simply leave all unchecked to export all information<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana;\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana; font-size: 12pt;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kb.certek.com\/admin\/media_store\/2\/AA-00422\/select_table.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/kb.certek.com\/admin\/media_store\/2\/AA-00422\/select_table.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"607\" align=\"\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"0\" vspace=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Once the table is selected, click on the menu on the top to run the query which will return all the data requested on the table selected.<\/li>\n<li>All the data returned will be shown on the inferior panel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>7.<\/strong> After the data has been reviewed on the lower panel and it has been decided to export it. Click file on the top menu =&gt; Export<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana; font-size: 12pt;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kb.certek.com\/admin\/media_store\/2\/AA-00422\/export_table.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/kb.certek.com\/admin\/media_store\/2\/AA-00422\/export_table.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"693\" align=\"\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"0\" vspace=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A new window will open asking for the criteria for the file that will be generated.<\/li>\n<li>Be sure to select the same options as the image below, except the directory or path or you will save your files at.<\/li>\n<li>Select the path where you will like to place the file at (It has to be selected every time you export a file)<\/li>\n<li>Select &#8220;<strong>OK<\/strong>&#8221; to export.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kb.certek.com\/admin\/media_store\/2\/AA-00422\/file_criteria.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/kb.certek.com\/admin\/media_store\/2\/AA-00422\/file_criteria.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"390\" height=\"261\" align=\"\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"0\" vspace=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>8.<\/strong>When data saves to the file, a success message will be shown.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kb.certek.com\/admin\/media_store\/2\/AA-00422\/export_sucess.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/kb.certek.com\/admin\/media_store\/2\/AA-00422\/export_sucess.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"310\" height=\"172\" align=\"\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"0\" vspace=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Now go to step 6, select another table and repeat the steps to export it.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The most useful tables may be: category, item, customer, user, vendors.
