To customize a video display, click on “Tools<\/strong>,” “Program Options<\/strong>,” and “Device Configuration<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n Open “Pole Display<\/strong>.”\u00a0<\/p>\n Make sure “Pole Display Type<\/strong>” is set to “Video Display<\/strong>.”\u00a0<\/p>\n Turn “Disable?<\/strong>” to “No.<\/strong>“<\/p>\n Customize the message by including an optional “Banner Message<\/strong>” and “Idle Message<\/strong>.” Select a “Banner Background Color<\/strong>” if you wish to change it from the default color.<\/p>\n To add a company logo to the screen, scroll up to “Stations and Sites<\/strong>” and click on “Store Identification<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n (Note: <\/strong>Your logo will display on receipts and other forms).<\/p>\n Click on “Import<\/strong>” to select an image from your computer.<\/p>\n You can display up to three images of your choosing to the left side of the screen. The accepted formats are .png, .JPEG, and .GIF (.GIF files can be animated).<\/p>\n The image(s) should be saved to your Artisan\\Ads<\/strong> folder in your Documents<\/strong> folder. If you do not have this folder, create it by doing the following:<\/p>\n Locate your “C<\/strong>” drive, then click on “Users<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n Click on your user<\/strong> account.<\/p>\n Locate your “Documents<\/strong>” folder.<\/p>\n Click on your “Artisan<\/strong>” folder.<\/p>\n Right-click and create a folder called “Ads<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n The image(s) will be scaled to fit the available space, but a good target size is 384 x 464 pixels. <\/b><\/p>\n Examples<\/strong><\/p>\n Each station has its own Ads folder for video display images. The displays do not coordinate with each other.\u00a0<\/p>\n To test the video display, click on “Test<\/strong>” in the “Pole Display<\/strong>” section.\u00a0<\/p>\n A test screen will show on your customer display.<\/p>\n In Artisan, a pop-up will ask you the following:<\/p>\n If the “LINE<\/strong>” section displayed successfully, click “yes<\/strong>.” If it did not, close out of the display, restart Artisan, and hit “Test<\/strong>” again. If that didn’t solve the issue, contact Tech Support<\/a>.<\/p>\n If you clicked yes, the preview screen will then show the following:<\/p>\n Click “yes<\/strong>” if it displayed correctly. If it did not, close out of the display, restart Artisan, and hit “Test<\/strong>” again. If that didn’t solve the issue, contact Tech Support<\/a>.<\/p>\n If you clicked “Yes<\/strong>,” Artisan will now show you a new preview of your video screen.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Your display will show the customer their order as it’s rung up, including any sales tax.
