Windows 10 will no longer be supported by Microsoft after October 14, 2025. Details here<\/a>. It will continue to run, for now, but you should plan to upgrade or replace Windows 10 computers.<\/p>\n

Before you update to Windows 11, please read this article<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

To check if your computer is eligible for the Windows 11 update, head to the Windows Icon and click on “Settings<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Click on “Update and Security<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

This will open the Windows Update screen. If your PC isn’t eligible for the Windows 11 update, you’ll see the “This PC doesn’t currently meet all the system requirements<\/strong>” screen. Click on “Get PC Health Check<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Download the “PC Health Check program<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Open the file once it’s finished downloading.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Accept the License Agreement terms and click “Install<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

The program will install. Click “Finish<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Click on “Check Now”<\/strong> in the “Introducing Windows 11<\/strong>” box.<\/p>\n

A pop-up will show the requirements that are missing. Click on “See All Results<\/strong>” to expand the list.<\/p>\n

You can scroll through the list to see what requirements the computer does or does not meet. In this example, the TPM (Trusted Platform Module) is missing or not enabled.<\/p>\n
