This article explains how to install a TSC printer driver. Printer drivers must be installed before using printers with Artisan.<\/p>\n

Downloading Driver<\/strong><\/p>\n

Head to TSC’s website, usca.tscprinters.com<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Click on “Support and Downloads<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Scroll down to “Driver<\/strong>” and find your specific printer model. For this example, we’re using the TSC 247.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you can’t find your specific model on the list, search for the product.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Click on the product.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Click on “Resources<\/strong>” and “Driver<\/strong>.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Download the driver that fits your operating system (Windows or Mac.)<\/p>\n

Open the file.<\/p>\n

Double-click the file.<\/p>\n

Accept the license agreement and hit “Next<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Choose where you want the driver to be downloaded. For easy access, we suggest leaving the file on your desktop for now. Hit “Next<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Make sure both option boxes are checked. Hit “Finish<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

A pop-up window will ask if you want the program to make changes to your computer. Press “Yes<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

On the Driver Wizard, select “Install printer drivers<\/strong>,” and press “Next<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Make sure your printer is connected to the computer via a computer port (if it isn’t, you’ll see the “Please connect your printer…” message as shown in the example.<\/p>\n

Once your printer is connected, select the connection type from the “How is this printer going to be attached?<\/strong>” list.<\/p>\n

Select “Next<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Select your printer model from the list. Select “Next<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n
