Once plugged into a power source, the device will power on. It will display a few loading screens.\u00a0<\/p>\n
1. Select the “F” <\/strong>key to access “Admin Mode<\/strong>,” and tap on the screen to enter that mode. If prompted, type the admin password “123456A<\/strong>” and press the “Enter (Green)<\/strong>” key. Depending on your device, you might need to cycle through to capital “A<\/strong>” by pressing the “2<\/strong>” key a few times.<\/p>\n 2. Select “Tetra Admin<\/strong>.” If your device is not touch screen, you’ll have to use the up and down arrows.<\/p>\n 3. Select “Download Application<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n 4. Select “Configure Download<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n 5. Select “TMS Address<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n 6. If you’re using a touchscreen device, touch the icon.<\/p>\n 7.\u00a0DO NOT PAUSE DURING THIS SECTION. Doing so will cause the device to time you out and you will have to renter your TMS Address. Enter the following:\u00a0<\/strong>temterminalsnar02.icloud.ingenico.com and press the “Enter (Green)<\/strong>” key. Note:\u00a0<\/strong>The best way to enter a period is by pressing the period button on the keypad.<\/p>\n 8. Select “TCP Port<\/strong>” (scroll down under “TMS address<\/strong>“).<\/p>\n 9. Delete the number already in the field. If you have a touchscreen device, like the Lane 5000, you’ll need to touch the icon shown in the picture. Delete the number that’s already there and type in 7002.<\/strong><\/p>\n 10. Press the red cancel key once.<\/p>\n 11. Select “2-Start Download<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n 12. Press the “Enter (Green)<\/strong>” key on the “Enter Package Name<\/strong>” screen. You do not need to enter a value.<\/p>\n 1. From the idle screen, press the “F<\/strong>” key. If you’re using a Lane 3000, you will need to double-press the “F” button.<\/strong><\/p>\n 2. Press “Admin Mode<\/strong>” on the screen.<\/p>\n 3. If prompted, enter the admin password (123456A), then press the green “Enter<\/strong>” key.<\/p>\n 4. Select “Tetra Admin<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n 5. Select “Set Date and Time<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n 6. Select “Set Date<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n 7. Enter date in mm\/dd\/yyyy format and press the green “Enter<\/strong>” key.<\/p>\n 8. Select “Set Time<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n 9. Enter time in hh:mm format and press the green “Enter<\/strong>” key.<\/p>\n 10. Press the green “Enter<\/strong>” key again.<\/p>\n 11. Press the red “Cancel<\/strong>” key to return to the idle screen.<\/p>\n Depending on your circumstances, you might need to use the device’s IP address instead of the Terminal Serial Number. Use the IP address as a last resort. You must reserve the IP address if you do this.<\/strong><\/p>\n The following pictures are taken from a Lane 3000 device.<\/p>\n 1. Press “F<\/strong>” on the homescreen.\u00a0<\/p>\n 2. Enter “Admin Mode<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n 3. Type in the password 123456A<\/strong>. Depending on your device, you might need to press the number “2<\/strong>” on the keypad to cycle through to capital “A.<\/strong>“<\/p>\n 4. Scroll to the “Control Panel<\/strong>.”\u00a0<\/p>\n 5. Select “Terminal Settings<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n 6. Select “Communication Means<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n 7. Select “Ethernet<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n 8. The device\u2019s IP, DNS, MAC address, and other information are located here. Input the IP address into the “Terminal Serial Number<\/strong>” field in Artisan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Scroll down to “Business and Financial<\/strong> Settings<\/strong>” and click on “Payment Processing Settings<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n In the “Payment Processing Profile<\/strong>” section, click the dropdown and select “Edit<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n Click “Add<\/strong>” and call this profile “DC Direct<\/strong>.” Press “OK<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n From the “Select the Payment Processing Profile<\/strong>” and “View\/Edit Settings<\/strong>” dropdowns, select the DC Direct profile you just made.<\/p>\n Select “DC Direct<\/strong>” from the “Payment Processing Method<\/strong>” drop-down.<\/p>\n Enter your “Merchant ID or Host Capture ID<\/strong>.” This is on your VAR sheet given to you by the sales team.<\/p>\n Leave the “Terminal ID<\/strong>” field blank.<\/p>\n The “Terminal Serial #<\/strong>” is on your product box. A good way to identify the number is to match it up with the IPSN number. The IPSN number is a little more than half of the Serial Number.<\/p>\n So, in this example, our Terminal Serial Number is 212676923011087734632002.<\/p>\n The IPSN number is inputted into the online portal. In this example, it is 3011087734632002.<\/p>\n Leave the “Processing Timeout<\/strong>” anywhere between 40 to 99 seconds. This is how long the PIN pad will display for the customer before timing out.<\/p>\n Leave \u201cProcessing Company<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cCommercial Card Data<\/strong>\u201d as they are.\u00a0<\/p>\n If the client accepts debit cards, EBT, or gift cards, set those dropdowns to \u201cYes<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/certek.com\/kb4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/2022-03-23_11h00_46.png\")
