Press “2<\/strong>” to select “Ethernet<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n Press the red “X<\/strong>” button. The device will ask to save the changes. Press “Yes<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n Once the device finishes rebooting, press “0000<\/strong>” on the keypad. This brings up the “Unified Payment Platform<\/strong>” screen.\u00a0We’ll refer to this screen later.<\/p>\n Open the “Configuration Settings<\/strong>” screen and scroll down to “Business and Financial Settings<\/strong>.” Click on “Payment Processing Settings<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n Click on “Integrated Processing<\/strong>” for the first two drop-down selections.<\/p>\n Under “Payment Processing Method<\/strong>,” select “NETePay<\/strong>” from the drop-down. Enter your “Merchant ID or Host Capture ID<\/strong>” and the “Terminal ID<\/strong>.” These are located on your setup\/VAR sheet from your processor, or CerTek.<\/p>\n Leave the listener host name and NETePay service to “localhost<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n Next, you’ll need to enter the “Terminal Device IP Address.<\/strong>” To find this, hit “0000<\/strong>” on the keypad and look for your IP address. We’ve blurred out our IP address for confidentiality.\u00a0<\/p>\n Select your device from the “Terminal Device<\/strong>” dropdown.<\/p>\n Press “Initialize<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n The Ingenico device should display a “wait<\/strong>” and “loading<\/strong>” screen, then will reboot. Artisan will display an “initializing<\/strong>” screen.<\/p>\n After the device reboots, you should receive a success message in Artisan.<\/p>\n Press “Save<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n Make sure your Datacap listener program is up and running. Type “Listener<\/strong>” into your search bar and bring up the program. (The listener program must be running, even if you’re on a server).\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n If you’re unsure how to download the program, or if the program is blocked by a firewall, click here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n To test that the PIN pad is communicating with Artisan, open a command prompt window. Type “CMD<\/strong>” in your search bar.<\/p>\n Type “ping<\/strong>” followed by the device’s IP address. The command prompt will start running. We’ve blurred out our IP address for confidentiality.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n If the communication is successful, the command will display replies from the device to Artisan.<\/p>\n (If the communication isn’t successful, you will receive “destination host unreachable<\/strong>” replies. Make sure you entered the IP address in correctly).\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n The device should now be ready to use.<\/p>\n If you’re utilizing multiple payment processors (ex. station 1 is set up to use NETePay, while station 2 needs to use DC Direct), you’ll need to add payment profiles.<\/p>\n Click on the Payment Profile dropdown and click on “Edit List.<\/strong>“<\/p>\n Click on “Add<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n Give the profile a name and press “ENTER<\/strong>” on your keyboard.<\/p>\n The profile is added to the list.
