How to Send Support Your Log File

    The Support Team uses log files to extract data and diagnose issues within Artisan. The logs include timestamps, which help us pinpoint when the error occurred.

    Quick Answer

    Head to your Artisan folder, locate your log .txt file, and upload to our Hightail link: https://spaces.hightail.com/uplink/certek

    Follow this path: C:\Users\<current user>\Artisan\local\v4\default to locate your log file.

    Detailed Instruction

    1. Locate your Artisan folder. 

    To do so, select your “Local Disk” (your “C” drive). Look for your “Artisan” folder.

    The “path” will look something like this: C:\Users\<current user> (with <current user> being your computer’s user. For example, “Stephanie” in the screenshot below)

    Double-click on the “Artisan” folder and open the “local” folder.

    Double-click on the “v4” folder.

    Open the “default” folder.

    Select your log file.
