Though you can easily view pending orders and layaways within Artisan, you might want to print out a list of these orders to have for your own records. Do so easily with the “Pending Orders/Layaway” Report.
Accessing the Report
From the toolbar, select “Reports,” “Sales Reports,” and “Pending Layaway/Order Report.”
Or, from the “Main Menu,” select “Reports.”
Choose “Sales Reports.”
Select “Pending Layaway/Order Report.”
Either way, you’ll end up at the following screen.
Report Fields
Show Sale Type: Choose between showing layaways, sale orders, special orders, or all three on the same report.
Sale Status: Choose the orders that have the sale status you want to view, from incomplete, waiting, or ready.
Report Examples
Here, we can see every pending order or layaway, sorted by the date the sale occurred. We’ve included all sale types and statuses.
Compared to this example, where we chose to show only show Special Orders that are waiting.
