Artisan POS contains a number of accounting functions, but is not a complete accounting system by itself. Instead, Artisan works together with other accounting tools, like QuickBooks. (We call these “external accounting packages”, or “external accounting software”, because they are “external to”, or separate from, Artisan itself.)
Alternatively, you can use Artisan to generating reports to give to your bookkeeper or accountant to enter manually into their systems.
