Please follow these steps to upgrade your Artisan POS if you have more than one store.
- A key is required for each location. Contact Sales (877-738-7835 or sales@certek.com) for more information. To enter a key, click on the “Help” pull down and select “Enter License Keys.” Press F3 to add a new key.
- Exit the Artisan Task Manager for your Multi-Store Remote synching.
- Make a backup at Site 1.
- Exit Artisan on all but one station, if you have more than one station. It is best if you keep Artisan on your main station, where the data is, open. Avoid WiFi laptops, if possible.
- Run the Artisan installer on the Main computer.
- Open Artisan or check the box in the installer.
- Open Artisan on your other stations. Click “OK” when Artisan says your version is “too old,” and then follow the prompts to complete the upgrade.
- Repeat these steps at each location as soon as you can. The remote synching will automatically pause until each site is on the same version.
