When you open Artisan, you’ll be greeted by the Welcome Screen. You’ll have a few different selections to choose from.
View Tutorials
If you want to view some step-by-step instructions before diving into Artisan, click the “View Tutorials” button, which takes you to our Knowledge Base. The Knowledge Base includes in-depth articles and guides on how to use the program.
Use Sample Data
“Use Sample Data” will tell Artisan to create fake data that you can practice with until you want to use your real data. We strongly recommend using sample data until you’re comfortable with Artisan and are ready to use the program on your own.

Use Real Data
This screen is where you’ll access your real Artisan database. CerTek Support will help you with this step to ensure your database is set up correctly. You’ll also click on this option whenever you launch Artisan and want to access your data.
