For Artisan to communicate properly with certain devices, like PIN pads and the ScannerPal, they both need to be on the same subnet. To find the subnet, you’ll first need to find your IP address.

Network Settings
Type “Settings” in your Windows search bar.
Select “Network and Internet.”
Select “Properties” under your Internet connection.
Scroll down to the “Properties” section. Look for “IPV4 address.”
The first three digits are the subnet. Compare this number with the IP address of the computer your Artisan is on. If those first three digits are the same numbers, they’re on the same subnet.
