Upload Logo to TSC Printer from Windows

To print your logo on a label printer using Artisan, the logo must be a 1-bit PCX file that is loaded into the printer’s memory.

If your logo is in a different file type (.JPEG, .PNG, .GIF, .BMP, etc.) use the following tool to convert the image into a 1-bit PCX file: https://online-converting.com/image/convert2pcx/

  1. Click “Add Image File” or drag and drop the file. Click “Download” to retrieve your converted file.

1a. If your file is too big to upload to the printer, you’ll need to resize it. Use this tool to resize your file: https://filestar.com/skills/pcx/resize-pcx

Install the program for your operating system (Windows or Mac).

1b. Select “Open File” from your downloads section.

1c. Follow the prompts to finish the installation.

1d. Open the program and select your .PCX file.

1e. Choose “Resize” under “What Would You Like To Do With This File?

1f. Choose where you want the image to go after it is resized (such as your “Downloads” folder). The program will automatically select a size (width and height) to resize your file to. You can change this by entering new numbers if necessary. When you’re ready, click “Resize.”

2. Locate your file and rename it LOGO.PCX (in all caps).

3. Configure the following settings using the TSC Diagnostic Tool (or a similar printer driver tool).

If you don’t have this tool, download it here.

4. Click on the “File Manager” tab.

5. Click the “Browse” button and double-click on your LOGO.PCX file.

6. Double-check that the file name is LOGO.PCX in all caps.

7. Set the “Memory Device” field to “Flash” from the dropdown.

8. Click “Download.”
